1997 Prelude SH 5 Speed
Replaced driver's C/V axle about 3 months ago, no problems there.
Replaced Passenger's C/V axle and upper control arm/ball joint front pads/rotors (both sides) about a week ago.
After about 50 miles of driving I started hearing a low-pitched popping or thumping only while accelerating or crusing. It does get quiter/softer or louder/harder with steering changes. If I let completeley off the accelerator
and/or push in the clutch, it immediately stops, even with steering changes.
This behavior, to me, is not how a bad c/v axle acts. I would think that the popping/thumping and noise would occur with steering changes regardless of acceleration.
Any thoughts? I have no probs buying another axle, I just dont want to chase myself in circles.

No that is exactly how a cv axle acts when it is bad. Mine have all been like that. When accelerating and turning at the same time it clicks but when you let off of the gas and keep turning the clicking stops, that is normal. Sounds like you need to warranty that CV axle.
