Fujita CAI?

Auto Parts and Accessories Catalog - 2001 honda prelude fujita cold air intake - 2001 Honda Prelude Fujita Cold Air Intake

" Increases horsepower by 15 to 20 percent; Includes polished intake tube, red super flow high performance air filter, full set of instructions, and all the necessary hardware for the product to be properly applied; Features 6061-T6 aluminum intake tube with silicone hose with Dupont Nomex reinforcement to provide stability during both extreme hot and cold conditions; Has CNC machined sensor fittings for a precise air and fuel ratio throughout the power curve; Its washable air filter is made of synthetic fiber that does not contain any oil; Designed to maximize air flow with its high gloss air horn that enables air to enter the intake chamber in a high velocity spiral motion; Provides stabilized intake function in times of unwanted stress during load through its TIG welded brackets used in conjunction with rubber vibration mount dampening; Easy bolt-on installation; With Fujita's limited 10-year warranty."

for $230...anyone know about these? never heard of them, but increasing horsepower by 15% should be about a 30HP gain right?

Re: Fujita CAI?

+1 on Bull****.

Your best bet for power is just a K&N drop in filter.

If you want a blingy tube running across your bay, get the AEM V2.

Re: Fujita CAI?

Yep, it's BS. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

These aren't EVOs or STi's where you can get 30 horses off a new intake.

Re: Fujita CAI?

Fugita has a good name but you're not going to feel a big difference with any intake alone even with a tune. The numbers might show but your butt dyno is the only thing that might "feel" faster.

Welcome to the forum. Sorry fella's not trying to thread jack but listen...
Don't try to fit in, think before you speak. You can do more damage then good when you post comments in threads like the one above and the thread you created about breaking in your engine. Just a friendly piece of advice. Your credibility will be shot rather quickly with ridiculous posts of things of this nature. I'm not raggin on you just giving you a friendly heads up.

Re: Fujita CAI?

i ran the fujita cold air intake in my old 01 accord 4cyl. It was cool it woke the car up but its not gonna give you crazy amounts of power. But its a good product. When i bought it i paid $130.
