Transmission fluid????

I had my prelude for a few months and it's starting to slip,
I wanted to check the fluid and can't find the dipstick or where to add more fluid
I'm clueless??????
By the way it's a 2000 AT

Re: Transmission fluid????

Not sure where the dipstick is (I have a manual) check your honda driver manual. Once you find it, the fluid is added through the dipstick hole. Most important, How many miles are on your car and has the trans ever been serviced before this?

Re: Transmission fluid????

Front of engine, left side, down by the radiator hose. Usually a dipstick with a yellow hook looking loop..

on the topic of auto-tragic; I just finished doing a 4 fill & flush. Has anyone noticed the new at fluid has been modified by Honda for better fuel economy? That's and they removed the " honda & acura" is the only difference I seen on the new bottles besides the bright green label.

PS do a tranny flush and clean the torq solenoid for better shifting; has these little screens that can get clogged.

the only h22 with a red VC is the type s, and there isnt one for sale on that site. also, that site is overpriced as hell.

the autos cant handle the stock hp. if youre going to turbo it, youre gonna be going through trans every week
i do knw manual
well thats good, id seriously invest in a 5 spd swap

yeah you are right it 'S'....
the guy said he bought it from there a couple months ago
and never install it he still have receipt from it
he wants 2000 for the whole thing tranny,
engine with 30k miles on it, cam gears and shaft and the greddy turbo
the only problem the tranny is auto again probably make the swap
later on
