help with 5th gen turbo

hey, i have a 2000 prelude sh and want to turbo it but was wondering if a turbo from a late 80's supra will fit with soem modifications, ofcourse a custom manifold, i have a friend selling the turbo and components, he is offering them for dirt cheap and wondering if its possible to make it work... supra is an 88 with the 7mgte with the stock turbo, if the turbo will not work can i still use the intercooler and components for a later date when i can afford a real turbo, i am not looking to run high boost anytime soon, atleast until i can affo4rd to beef up the engine, i would like to keep the engine safe from any problems which is why i want to run a low boost for now.. other then having intake and exhaust my car is stock right now..

anyone who can help out would be greatly appreciated
