Re: New Parts

well now there is a snag. i took my car to my mechanic for the h23 conversion kit. he has everything up there but he said that the timing belt is having a hard time going on cause the pully is like a 1/2 inch bigger than the stock one. could the timing belt snap since there is alot of tension on it just to get it on there?

Re: New Parts

Sorry for the noob question but what advantages are there if you switch over to the h23 timing belt setup?

Re: New Parts

the hydraulic portion of the timing belt tensioner fails prematurely and from what im told its alot more reliable. thats why i decided to switch to it. i just got my car back today and so far no problems. i doubt i will though

Re: New Parts

Rofl it is normal for it to be tight with the h23 conversion. Honestly I didn't do any break in period and it's fine.
