Re: Heater

I would check the fan motor, might be bad, also check to see all the hoses under the dash are connected. Might hear it but not much coming out.

Re: Heater

I noticed that when it's on the heat and vent settings it doesn't blow as hard. just keep it on vent or heat and it's full force

Re: Heater

1) Most likely you need to Clean the Filter, under dash AND the air intake at the base of the window- Usually leaves, etc plug this area

2) check to make sure the solenoid that changes the levels is working and is not bent or binding on the little cam. This not working would make it seem as thow the blower isnto blowing hard enough becuse the pressure is being "shared." (not sure about the 5th gen but on the fourth it is right above the gas peddle and up against the center console.- See your Gen specific repair guide for more detail)

3) if you want to get extreme you can pull your blower motor and make sure that it is operating at peak efficiency/amps.

I agree. I think in number 2 you are talking about the blower motor resistor.

Re: Heater

nope... #2 is literally in reference to the cam that changes the modes. Without proper lubrication it can bend quite easily- I know mine did, once correcting/straightening the cam it worked like new.

pg 22-35 - Mode control Motor - (page 22-44 has a real good breakdown of all the mode control parts.)
D/L the manual from the 5th gen resource guide (link below)

http://downloads.hondatech.info/Auto...nditioning.zip

#3 (even tho it is a Mute point at this point) is in reference to all that is the Blower Motor- specifically pg 22-11 is the test for the blower motor resistor.
And the blower motor test is on pg 22-12

all this information simply by SEARCHING and downloading the proper guide... hmmmmmm
