Front lip hardware

I'm getting my type-s front lip this weekend, but I need to know what size screws and such I need. I understand there is a thread on where to get the hardware for it, but I need to know the size of the screws and such because I rather buy them at home depot then at Honda.

Get them at Honda. Home depot (at least in Canada) only sells steel screws which rust really fast, especially since it'll be at the bottom of your car.

Not sure if the sizes are on here but at least you know what you need, should have sizes don't have time to check studying for exams.

Re: Front lip hardware

So what size are the screws? I'm going to home depot tomorrow and I need to know what to look for. I'm not that knowledgable of tools and such. The size and such for each things I need. Do Home Depot sell everything that's need for the installation? Or does some items only Honda has?

I know you're excited about installing the lip, but what's wrong with waiting a few days to get the correct parts from Honda and doing the install correctly? I posted the Honda part#s for the hardware in my previous post, and they will not rust. Yes I know it's gonna run you about $45, but the hardware store stuff will rust and look like shiat. I also don't think they will have the proper size of slip on nuts, especially ones that won't rust, and without having at least one of each needed part you will just be quessing on the size anyway. It's your car though, so you don't have to take my advice.

Go to a hardware store that specifically sells screws and bolts and whatnot if you don't want to take a trip to Honda. Home Depot does not have rust-proof screws. If you bolt them on and they rust and crack your lip, you'll be sorry and wished you spent that extra shinny penny to get rust-proof screws and bolts. This coming from experience.
