Re: h22 head question

You need to figure out what cams they are first and foremost. They're probably the OEM cams.

Re: h22 head question

Buy whatever cams you want and throw em in the head. Take the cams that are in it now, and beat a hobo with them.

Re: h22 head question

IF it was built for a turbo set-up then the cams are probably turbo cams. If you can determine which cams they actually are then you'll be able to either sell them to someone else that wants to go turbo or use them because they're not turbo cams. The rest of the valve train should be good to go (springs valves and retainers) though and that's why these guys are addressing the cams. If you can't figure out what cams are currently in the head the just buy some new cams (or used) that will give you the specs you want for NA and you should be good to go with that head as long as it's in good condition.
