will a p28 virgin ecu from civic work on h22's or does it have to be for h22.

what are you trying to do with it? it will work but you have to convert to obd1(if obd2) and have some way to tune.

p28 will start your car but not run it properly. you will need it to be chipped for h22.

like bustr said it has to be chipped to run an h22. or you have to have some way to tune yourself.
