Yes, another issue. lol

My relays and all that jazz are fine. Good. It's just that my HIDs are kinda "ghettoed" in there...I mean, the H1 bulbs were loose, so I just made some washer/holder that keeps them in place. Am I supposed to turn the bulbs clockwise/counter clockwise to keep them in there tight? I heard that you have to, but I couldn't "turn" them. I just put them in there with the wire facing down (at the road). I see fine, it's just that the lights need adjusted...Badly. Lol, the bubble is at like, "6" on my left headlight; and "9" on my right headlight. I want them to be a "0", but the adjusting I do with the screwdriver doesn't affect the bubble thing (or my beams) at all. I'm thinking I need to re-apply my bulbs. And ditch the ghetto washers and masking tape. I've been googling, and I can't find out how to properly put in my bulbs...They're H1's with this little black tab and these "bubble" things on the sides; which I imagine are supposed to be used for "locking" the bulb in place.

inb4: tl;dr

Re: Yes, another issue. lol

reason why you probably won't see much of a difference with just a PnP kit is cause prelude lights aren't designed for HID which is why people will have a retrofit done. Having a retrofit done will focus the light onto the street like they're suppose to be instead of all over the place. If you insist one still using just your PnP kit, 1 method that people do is dremel out the center portion of the stock bulb holder, then slide their HID bulb through.

^^^ I'll try that, thanks. I just don't want to spend a ton of money on retrofitted lights. And I don't want some ricer ebay projector things. Thanks for the tip with the old lights though.

Re: Yes, another issue. lol

Ok so I fixed my problems again...Kinda. The OEM halogen light-holder trick ended badly; so I just put more duct tape to hold the bulbs a sort of "angle"...My adjuster still doesn't work with my HIDs, but I honestly don't mind anymore lol. I need to get some money for retrofits...I'm getting a Buddy Club seat and an EM Racing C-Pillar bar for myself for Christmas.

EDIT: Could you tell me what that thing is called? Like, "OEM Halogen Holder" or something like that?

EDIT (again): I bought these clips: http://www.retrosolutionsllc.com/ser...H1-BULB/Detail
