Rare Carbon Fiber parts info

I am looking for rare carbon fiber parts for the 5th gen (BB5,BB6,BB7,BB8) prelude. I already know of the ones on ebay and know of the very rare rear window spolier. Need more pieces.

The rear window spoiler is only rare because it wasn't a Honda accessory, they're all aftermarket. Can't remember who, but someone makes Type S style cf front lips, I'll see if I can find them.

don't go too crazy w/ the CF. It looks tacky, and that's not at all prelude.

Along the line, I do plan to paint. I would only keep the carbon fiber its original color if the car was all CF, green, or possibly silver. My avatar used to be a completely CF exterior prelude.

yeah I have a mag w/ that car as a feature in it, it was a cool concept, but looked like **** for a prelude.

i dont know you can make a prelude look sick with cf but like they said if you go crazy wit it it will look too much exagerated i think a white prelude with a cf hood and trunk painted half black and half white would look mint. but for the interior ive seen an integra with cf interior it looked serious but you need everything not just the console for it too look nice

You are right about the lude in the mag, did not look the greatest. Only want a couple of cf interior parts(console, guage trim, radio bezel).

Exterior parts I will only buy top quality(VIS Racing, Seibon). Other wise I am just talking interior parts. I am going to get a cf gas door and door handles, though. I don't want the cheap stick on stuff(uses 3M double sided tape) for the interior. I will take CF overlay though. Unique Carbon on ebay does overlay.

Ok, I got the carbon gas door(not full/overlay). I bought mine from carbonfiberam on ebay. I did not feel like messing with interex who makes full cf replacements. Anyone with the full replacement, where did you get yours?

I just installed the cf shift boot. I will put up pics later. BTW, anyone ever heard of solo performance products? I think it is a short shift adapter on my shifter. It does not really work though. It came on the car when I got it.

the only thing that is an overlay is the console cover. look at the interior pics of my car, not fake at all. the radio bezel, door switch covers and gauge bezel are ALL molded direct replacements, not overlays.
speaking without knowledge is like bangin a girl that has the germ w/o a condom. you're askin for trouble haha.

I like the center console and still think your car needs to be in a magazine but, that's not what I meant. I don't want any of the HONDA REPLACEMENT parts because the center console uses 3M tape, and all the replacement parts(window switches, guage bezel, radio trim) are a CF patterned finish. Check handa-accessories.com, they sell the kit. It is not real carbon fiber. They cannot charge that little for it to be real carbon fiber(179.00 from factory). I might buy the gauge bezel, but that is it. Otherwise I will have someone custom overlay my bezel. I don't like fake CF, because it looks really tacky. Just like all the CF tail lights, they are fake, not real. I had them on my accord(TYC fakes). My phone cover was "carbon fiber". All it really was is a piece of abs plastic covered with a CF patterned finish.

I now have the carbon fiber console lid. Next will be the hazard switch/center air vent. Just have to wait for the new one to come in.
