My Type S Intake

Finally got my Type S intake in the mail today! Since I'm replacing my AEM CAI, I have to get the bottom half of the stock intake, (where the filter goes) so hopefully I'll get that this weekend.

It also came with these springs, any idea what they're for?

Re: My Type S Intake

The two springs are to secure the elbow between the dynamic chamber and the top of the filter enclosure.

Congrats on the purchase.

Re: My Type S Intake

Thanks, I was wondering how that would stay secure. Any good ways to loosen up the springs? Not even close to securing them.

Re: My Type S Intake

Now if I can just find the Airbox housing. I haven't found any junkyards around that have 5th Gen Preludes, Honda wants $116, yea right, and the cheapest I've found it online is $73. Maybe ebay?
