ignitions problems, need help!!!

Where my valve cover holding bolt sit i have a couple bad treads thats connected to the camshaft holding plates, which is under cylinder #4.So the oil started getting into the spark plug section from the valve cover. When i first looked at it the spark plug was covered with oil to the top. After sucking all the oil out getting a new spark plug and changing the spark plug wires, the car still wouldnt start.i've even put new distributor on and the spark plug wires are in the right order. And its not the gas the gas is getting through.any help what might be causing my car not to start would be appriciated.
