Icon11 5 speed Manual Swap Completed. need some help.

Hi all.
how are we all today??

I have just completed my Auto to 5 Speed swap.
5th gen Auto & 4th Gen Manual.

I used my 4th Gen JDM as my Donor Car.
Full Engine and gearbox from the 4th Gen.
I used a mounting Bracket for the Tranny from the 4th Gen and the remaining 3 were left.
I used the Auto Wireing loom.
the auto Throttle head becasue of the plug.
the 4th Gen brake and Clutch Pedals.
5th Gen steering pump and bracket was attached to the 4th Gen engine becasue of fittings inside. 4th Gen would not fit.
5th Gen air con pump was also fitted to the 4th Gen Engine becasue the 4th Gen was not working and it seemed more sensible to keep it and not degass the system...

4th Gen Rad becasue the 5th Gen auto had the pipes going to the Auto box.

and little bits here and there when needed.
I belive that the Fuel Injectors were used from the 5th Gen but im not sure why.
I paid a guy to do all this...

the Car is a rocket...
except VTEC wont kick in. the Engine Management light is on.
so my guess is that the Engine is in Safe Mode? Yes/NO???

i will get the light reset shortly. and am hoping that this will go off...
the engine worked fine b4 in the 4th Gen.

i also have another problem.
he ran the car dry and i had to put some petrol in.
the car didnt start after putting in 5 litres. so i put another jerry can in.
then it started and it was coughing like an old man.
what the heck!!
idling really bad.
i took the car for a drive.
put a full tank in and half bottle of redex.
and blasted the car on the motor way.
(it seems to be suckin more somehow)
used the full tank and fulled up again b4 going home.
left the car with about 15 litres in.

the next day the car was idling really bad.
cut out a few times when i was stopped at lights, junctons or even between gears. i tightened the throttle wire just so it wont do this but it is just tempory. becasue it is not fix the problem. just to keep the revs a little higher so it wont cut out.

what can i do?
what is the problem??

can anyone help me please???
