CAI to Type S intake, issues?

So I'm planning on switching from my AEM CAI to the Type S. I didn't install the CAI and I was wondering if I will run in to any issues when I switch to the Type S.

Thanks in advance.

Re: CAI to Type S intake, issues?

Do you still have the bottom part of the stock air box or does your Type-s intake have one? So so long as you have a bottom part of an air box you should be fine. Are you going to be using the resonator?

I do not. I have not ordered the Type S yet, I assume not though. The resonator should have been removed when the CAI was installed correct?

Is that just a statement or are you saying that you have it for sale? If so, is it a Type S?

Well, I ordered it, hopefully I won't need to get anything else but it looks like a junkyard might be in my future.
