Re: lowering went wrong

there aren't any skidplates if that's what your asking, factory nor aftermarket (that i know of), that protect the oil pan. there's just a bar/cross-member that goes underneath it the pan, connecting the front cross-member to the rear one.

Re: lowering went wrong

you could always get a custom skidplate made, and it would prolly be pretty cheap.

Re: lowering went wrong

Probably wouldn't be too expensive to get one made... or you could just drive a little more careful (unless there was some random object that flew into the road, then its just bad luck).

It takes quite a bit to mess up these oil pans so you had to have hit it real damn hard.

Re: lowering went wrong

best way to avoid cracking your oil pan is to not have your car slammed, avoid pot holes, city titties, and any other hard objects in the road.

Re: lowering went wrong

You must've hit whatever you hit pretty F'n hard or in just the right (in a bad way) way to crack the oil pan. Driving a lowered car takes a little extra skill in that you need to maneuver around things that may scrape the under-carriage. Replace your cracked oil pan and just be cautious in the future...
IF u wanted that extra protection, the sky is the limit with metal fabrication.... i'm sure you could get a skid plate and installation brackets fabricated for an affordable cost...

Re: lowering went wrong

I mean you can get a piece of metal that you can mold (bend) to fit under the oil pan. Just find some good spaces to bolt her on.
