replacing tranny, atts and motor

So here's the story. I replaced my 5sp tranny about 2 months ago, then my motor decided to go out too. so now I'm stuck in a bit of a pickle. Hmotors will only sell the TypeS setup as a whole. now I'm thinking I just need to sell off my new/used tranny and the JDM ATTS system. the reason I think I need to sell the JDM ATTS is because I heard that the USDM CPU will not work with it. anyone hear different? so now I really don't know what to do, I'm ordering all this stuff anyway, anybody have any ideas?

Re: replacing tranny, atts and motor

Think logically. Worry about selling everything AFTER the car is completely back together.

Re: replacing tranny, atts and motor

If you order a TypeS swap from Hmotorsonline, it should come with an ecu, I am about 90% sure all the packages they sell have ecu's, axles, everything.

At least my swap did.

Re: replacing tranny, atts and motor

^^ They do.

And you can always do a base h22a swap. Just be a bit more of a pain in the ass. Or a h23 swap. with h22 head. then turbo.

Yeah, you should do that.

it does come with the ECU and ATTS, but I have to keep my US atts because the JDM ecu doesn't come with the package, and I've heard of compatablility issues with that. no biggie though. My Prelude will finally fun at 100% when I'm done with this swap, I'm hella excited!

Havik - I have never wanted to go turbo on anything, but now I have an extra motor to rebuild, so I'm thinking about building it for boost. we'll see.
