Moonroof rattle / windshield wipers out of control

I remembered I stumble across a thread stating how to fix that moon-roof rattle, how every time I drive on bumps and potholes that the moon-roof rattles. Does anyone know how I can tighten the moon-roof so that it wouldn't rattle?

Also, I really need this solved - When I turn on my windshield wipers, the drivers side wiper always hits the side when it goes up, also resulting in a semi loud sound when it hits. Why is the wiper hitting the side, I know my previous cars wipers stop at a certain point, then goes back down and vice-versa, but with my lude, its out of control and hits the side then goes back down. How can I fix this?

Re: Moonroof rattle / windshield wipers out of control

id like to know the sun roof fix as well +1

as for the wipers what "side" is it hitting the side of the other wiper ? or the edge of the windshield ?

if hitting the other wiper the that wiper may be to big

if its going to far and hitting the edge of the windshield them maybe your arm is loose or out of alignment

It's hitting the side of the windshield. Should I take it apart and realign it somehow?

Moon roof troubleshoot

Service Manual Chapter 20-32..

Mine used to rattle but I cleaned the track and applied grease. Smooth and quiet!

How do I realign the wipers? It's rain season real soon and would like to get this done before it comes. Also, when I twist the speed level of the wipers to the fastest speed, the drivers side wipers hits the side of the windshield, then when both wipers comes down, it hits the bottom with a bang.

1 turn the wipers on get them to go all the way up ( as far as they will go ) and stop them
2 follow the wiper arm down to the bottom where you should see a nut ( might be a plastic cover over it you have to remove cant remember and to lazy to go look lol )
3 remove that nut and and you can move/take off the arm then just move it a bit to the left ( passenger side ) till you get it just right , might take a few tries but hope this helps !

ps dont forget to tighten the nut back up
