ECU Repairs....

Do any of you guys have any expriences (good or bad)with anyone that repairs ECUs? I have a 2001 Prelude and the A/C isnt working due what is suspected to be a bad ECU. It has lost its ground on the output pin that sends voltage to the compressor clutch relay. All other componets are fine. Any advice or recommendations on the ECU repair would be appreciated...

Re: ECU Repairs....

Are you sure your AC compressor itself hasn't gone out? Possibly check all your connections and fuses?

Re: ECU Repairs....

Yeah, I am quite sure. I can jump the compressor relay and the clutch kicks in just fine and makes cold air. But cannot get a voltage from the ECU to the relay to tell it to close. Thanks for the reply though.

Re: ECU Repairs....

We could probably take a look at it. My guy works on mostly Mitsubishi stuff but we can do that as well.

Re: ECU Repairs....

id assume you'd have to go to honda, i don't really know of anyone or have heard of anyone who works on an ecu with an immobilizer.
