Type SH Suspension/Big Brake Mods

Hey guys Ive been looking around and i cant find any suspension and brake kits (mostly suspension)that will go with my car or if any of these parts will mess with the ATTS. Im not looking to drop it all that much i just want firmer suspension and a good setup thatll make my car handle better. For the brakes im looking for a pig brake front kit with drilled rotors and rear drilled rotors. Im not really sure which brands will carry products for my SH. Also which brand is best for sway bars and strut bars. Im new to this and I dont know what to get seeing that my cars parts are really hard to find...
Thanks guys

Re: Type SH Suspension/Big Brake Mods

None will mess with the ATTS.
"best" is a subjective term - we cannot help you with what will be "best" for your application unless we know what you plan on doing with the car, your budget, what the roads are like in your area, your budget, what you like on your pizza, your budget, how many people you will carry in your car, your budget, your girlfriend's phone number or your budget.
As far as finding parts is concerned, you can ignore almost all catalogues that say "excl. SH" as almost all the parts fit perfectly.

Re: Type SH Suspension/Big Brake Mods

If you want a big brake kit, be prepared to shell out some dough. Like, $2000. Spoon and Baer make them, there are probably a few others.

Re: Type SH Suspension/Big Brake Mods

Yeah that was my concern. I kept seeing all these parts that said excl. Type SH on it and I read somewhere that some suspension doesn't fit on the SH and any change in height or suspension can drive the ATTS unit crazy. But if that's not the case I will seriously consider getting a new suspension kit installed. I live in LA and I pretty much use my lude for daily commutes between school and home but I drive on twisty roads. I don't really want to drop my car but if I have to then I would drop the minimum amount. I was thinking maybe Tein, Koni, or maybe Intrax. As far as my budget is concerned I'm looking for affordable parts but if I have to pay a little more for the good stuff then it isn't an issue. I know that the big brake kit is gonna be the most expensive part to buy but I think it'll be worth it. I'm thinking between Brembo and Stoptech but I'll look into the Spoon big brake kit too.

Re: Type SH Suspension/Big Brake Mods

For Big Brake set kits i would take a look at StopTech.. Be prepared to fork over some major cash.. Buttttttt, i don't really suggest getting any of these if your not going to be constantly pushing your car.. If you are just gonna be taking the turns quickly during your commute to work and school, I think you should do a pad upgrade or maybe see if you can swap calipers from another Honda.

Re: Type SH Suspension/Big Brake Mods

Endless also makes a big brake kit for the front. It's on Ebay right for about $2500.

I never understood why these cost so much.
