smoke from engine bay

car does not seem to be over heating

(my temp needle is broken)

but there was no extreme heat, the hood was touchable

its about 50-60 degrees

i had the heat on (it was burning hot)

both my fans work

it seems that the smoke was coming from the radiator area, it was too dark to see or specify

im wondering if i have a leak or somthing like that

Re: smoke from engine bay

If you have any kind of leak in the cooling system it is very hot and pressurized and it will create steam or white smoke. Check for leaks.

Re: smoke from engine bay

How much smoke and where is it coming from? Try running the ar in the daytime and see where its coming from, it doesn't help if you don't know.

Also if you did an oil change right before it happened, then it's pretty normal to get smoke as some oil will prolly drip onto the block and exhaust, and it'll go away once it burns it off. However if you didn't just do an oil change, then I would look into other stuff.
