Icon5 Leaking tailights?

I was told that 5th gen preludes all have leaking tailight issues... True? False? Mine are leaking pretty bad. I was also told that the easiest fix is aftermarkets. Any ideas?

Re: Leaking tailights?

the easiest fix is getting a new tail light seal. got one and no more fogging up and no more water in my trunk.

Yeah its just the gaskets you have to replace. they get old and hard and crack and don't seal. They were pretty cheap from Honda and very easy to replace. I put them in and it fixed the problem of water leaking into my trunk. Water was getting all the way to my back seat before especially when it rained. Now everything stays nice and dry.

Seriously x800 on the taillight gaskets. Easy to do, way less money than new taillights. However if problem does persist, look into used oem tails.
