Possibly getting a 5th gen prelude.

I've currently got a 4th gen prelude, and its giving me a lot of problems, and I've finally decided to get rid of the car (but thats for another time.) I've heard that the fifth gen prelude has a lot less room in the cabin, and I am kind of worried. I just looked at a S-14, and even with the seat scooted to far back, i still had the steering wheel in my lap. So, finally, my question is, is there enough room in the 5th gen for a fluffy guy thats 6'2" to fit comfortably? I don't know if it helps, but the car appears to be completely stock. Thanks a bunch!

i'm 6'2 and i fit with the seat all the way back and the chair lowered all the way. can't heel toe tho, knee will hit the steering wheel. my head hits the roof if i don't lean back the seat.

I am 6'1 and 'fluffy', I fit in a 5th gen a lot better than my sisters fourth gen, the 4g seats are too much bucket style for my wide ass.

I don't know the meaning of this word "fluffy."

Re: Possibly getting a 5th gen prelude.

I'm 6'4 and about 260lbs and I sit about 3 or 4 clicks away from being completely back. Doesn't bother me a bit. I have a buddy who's about 6'7 but really skinny with a 5th gen, and he's never complained about leg room in his.

Re: Possibly getting a 5th gen prelude.

Ya I know what you mean...my point was, don't sugarcoat it. If your fat your fat. Just say it.

"Fluffy" and "plump" is just a different way of saying "not fat enough yet to need a rascal, but fat nonetheless."

Anyway if you're looking to get rid of your 4th gen because it has problems, you're prolly not gonna be all that happy once you get the 5th gen. I got a whole list of things I need to fix, seriously, its about a page long. After all that, I'm going to prolly have to buy a new engine anyway. So good luck.

Re: Possibly getting a 5th gen prelude.

Rofl, try sitting in the 5g back seats! If I were you I'd save up for a better car. I am already saving for something better to replace my accord.

lol, they always go for a subi...

Good looks though, I'd keep the prelude as a project car or a weekend car, but get the impreza for a DD. Then the preludes problems won't be such a problem cuz you can work on it at your leisure.

The big issue why I have so many problems that have taken so long to fix is I use my prelude as my DD, so its not like I can leave it all torn apart in my garage or something. Being broke as a joke doesn't help either.
