"Turbo or no Turbo" that is the question?

Icon5 "Turbo or no Turbo" that is the question?

Hello everyone I have gotten into a discussion with my brother over the future of my lude and was hoping u can shine some light on it. I would like to have my lude pushing 350hp - 400hp at the wheels. The problem is if this can be done cheaper and realistically through turbo h22 or n/a h22. I have been doing research and have found that it is more reliable going the n/a route but more expensive compared to going the turbo route which is completely opposite. I don't know if this ?? has been answered before or not (I have used the search button here in the forum ). Any incite is greatly appreciated.

even with a 30K N/A H22, the max you'll see is like 280whp'ish

If your wanting that kinda power you'll definitley have to go turbo.

But nick, if I remember correctly, 98vtec is shooting for 300whp on his new build. I could definitely be wrong, but I think thats what I seen he's going for.

i was guesstimating +/- 50hp. the point that i was tryna make was 350-400hp aint happening N/A

Now finding a good HP and torque to match would be ideal.

Example a 300 HP H22 w/ 160 ft lbs of torque would not be as good as a 280 HP H22 w/ 250 ft lbs of torque.

These numbers are just hypothetical.

what about MOARRRRR tq than hp??? (like my F22(and my EJ25))
