Rev limiter help?

i own a 5th gen type sh prelude and when ever im having fun and i hit near
7rpm's my car jumps, i think i have a rev limiter but im curious if it is, and if so how to get past it, thx for looking at this, really appreciate the help

yeah doesnt sound like the rev limiter, mine goes to at least 8 grand before any rev limiter, I don't actually know where my rev limiter is though, because my power band falls off after about 7400 or so.

Hondas don't have a rev limiter...duh...



Actually the fuel gets a limited cut-off at 7700 rpm, but there isn't an actual rev limiter.

thx and yes my check engine light is on, theres also a wierd high pitched noise that i think is coming from my cams, its sounds every time the make one complete revolution

your timing belt may have jumped a few teeth on the gear possibly causing valves to bend
