R.I.P. to my lude...

sup everyone, i thought i wouldn't ever make one of these but i guess i was wrong..........basically long story short, a ****in car did one of those right turns at the light and i was going on the other street and light was green. well you know those streets where it says right turn on light only well this guy did it at a red light and i crashed into his ass and he took off and fled the scene. now idk wtf gonna happen since i didn't have full coverage on the car so i think i gotta pay outta my pocket right or what can i do??? well heres some pics don't look too bad sorta. but pretty much whole front end messed up. I need hood, hood latches, fenders, radiator, radiator support, bumper support, bumper, front lip, jdm fogs, turn signals, headlights, and few more things plus getting it painted =*(

Im ****innnn pissed!

Re: R.I.P. to my lude...

hell yea dude i was gonna chase him down but my car started but i turned it off because the bumper was dragging and the radiator was literally bent in half and making a leaking noise. and i had just got my car exterior all finished up getting it ready for the honda tech meet and this happened....

Holy **** bro, that sucks hardcore. I hate these threads sooo much, not to mention the guy fled the scene. If anyone ever tried to leave if it was their fault my lude was fukked I beat em half to death.

Good luck man, seems like a fairly ****ty situation to me. But at least you're ok, and its only a car. **** will work itself out one way or the other eventually.

No witnesses or anything that got a description of his vehicle or a plate number?

Sorry to hear about this though man...I know how it feels.

Re: R.I.P. to my lude...

Too bad u didnt get his tag number. Thats what I wouldve tried. But honestly if I were u I would just part it out. U can make a pretty decent amount of money off that. But I would only do that if insurance wouldnt pay to fix it(which I doubt they will since the guy fled). But Im also not an insurance agent. Anyways. Sorry about your lude. At least your ok tho. Thats at least 1 positive thing you can look at.

Re: R.I.P. to my lude...

do u @ least have uninsured motorist? that should cover it. was a police report filed? if the person fled, i'm pretty sure he/she is automatically at fault. but don't quote me on this... good luck with whatever happens. i hope it gets repaired. ludes r gettin harder and harder to find. lol

Re: R.I.P. to my lude...

I don't think uninsured motorist coverage would cover a hit and run, they are two completely different things. When I had my first Prelude (and my old insurance company) they didn't cover any of the 3 hit and runs that happened, so even if you DO have uninsured motorist coverage 209, don't get your hopes up.

God I hate assholes that hit and run.

Yup. I noticed the same thing. There's quite a few dead threads that have been going up.

Re: R.I.P. to my lude...

yea this sucks! shyt is like the worst feeling but i know it can be fixed but still you know. thanks for the support though guys. i was thinking bout parting it out but not 100% sure, i gotta see whats actually messed up sometime this week. i really want to fix it too..there goes for my turbo set up i was thinking of getting soon=/ i'll still get it but ima get full coverage asap so this shyt don't happen again.

and turns out i found out who it was, hes my girlfriend's, cousin's, friend(lol) but yea i guess he don't have insurance but he agreed to pay for all my parts to get it fixed. so its pretty good he admitted it was his fault but he just bought his car so it hasn't even been transfered to his name yet so it has no insurance. do i have a certain amount of time before i tell the insurance company who it is? because he says he'll pay for it but say what if he doesn't pay, do i just call the cops? or can i wait a bit to see if he really gonna pay for it before i decide to call. im pretty sure he'll pay to be honest but i just decided to ask you guys to see what will be the best thing to do...

but yea it looks pretty bad and my mom thinks its totaled but it aint...i think..anyone got links to part outs? i really rather fix it since this my baby<3 lol..k no more lol'ing this shyt is serious....haha

wow that's crazy you found the driver. don't give him too long to pay for the damages because after a long period of time a police report probably won't be valid anymore
