Cylinder one misfire after jdm swap

This is my first post so I hope I am doing it properly. I am the proud owner of a 97 Honda Prelude that just recently got a jdm h22a engine swap from Tigerjapanese. The previous engine was a usdm h22a4 that was leaking and burning oil like nothing else. I just recently got the jdm in and I bought an obd1 h23/h22 dizzy that I wired to the crank sensor but I am receiving a check engine light for a cylinder one misfire. I replaced the coil, plugs, plug wires, cleaned egr valve, swapped injectors but I still havent found a solution. Ive checked the wiring from my dizzy to the obd2 wiring harness but everything looks correct according to Bustr's thread on wiring a crank sensor to the dizzy. At first the car wasnt having a noticable misfire but now its seems as if it has gotten worst. Sometimes the car wont even start, but when it does, it has a misfire. I checked compression in all four cylinders but they were all within 10 psi, so I dont think that would be it. The engine does put out a little blue smoke at high rpms but weird to say sometimes its black and other times its just blue which is something else I dont understand. Im curious to as if I just wired something up wrong on the dizzy by any chance. I would like to add that I am still using a p5m ecu. Is there maybe something that I was suppose to swap over that I forgot about? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I would like to also add that I never messed with the timing.

Re: Cylinder one misfire after jdm swap

Tigerjapanese is a crappy company, with many bad reviews. If it has any kind of warranty on it, I'd try to get it replaced under warranty. There's prolly alot more wrong with it than a misfire.

Yeah I made the mistake of buying the engine from them becasue of a friend recommending them to me, and I wish I could get it replaced but I took so long getting it in that Im out of my 30 day warranty. I sent them messages but they just ignored me.

Re: Cylinder one misfire after jdm swap

Hey John thanks for replying, i currently dont have access to another ecu, so i havent tried another ecu yet. The injectors are the ones that came with the jdm, i will have to look at them and repost. The car is throwing a p0301, the other day i took it down the road and the cel flashed 2 times, 5 times and then 18 times if i remember correctly.

I guess the question now is wether or not you can use a usdm p5m ecu with a jdm h22a.

Re: Cylinder one misfire after jdm swap

Okay I was wrong all along because I didnt notice that I was receiving more than I code. Im receiving a p1399 for random misfiring. My guess now is the ecu might be the cause, and timing looked to be in line. Im looking for all the help I can get. So if anyone has any other ideas as to what my problem is, please reply as soon as possible.
