Where to buy magnetic drain plug?

I'm just about due for my oil change and want to replace my drain plug with a magnetic one. Is there a certain brand I should buy, or should I just go to autozone?

Thanks!

i bought ebay ones... both oil and tranny.... then i bought passwordjdm ones.. both oil and tranny... the oil plug from passwordjdm is longer than the ebay one... but the tranny is the same... they both work the same...

Re: Where to buy magnetic drain plug?

Thanks for the responses guys!!!

I have another question!

Are the drain plugs for the manual tranny and auto tranny the same? I keep finding combo packs for oil and MANUAL tranny plugs, but unfortunately, I own an auto . Does anyone know if they are different in any way?

Thanks again!

Re: Where to buy magnetic drain plug?

I ordered the Omnipower set from King Motorsports. They're nothing special, they're just magnetic drain plugs, lol. Just make sure you always replace the washer when you do an oil change, otherwise it'll start to leak.

Yup, it can't hurt to have one, making sure there is no metal shavings in that oil!
