Questions about 5th gens.

Hey guys don't know if you remember me, I used to have a 4th gen prelude but I sold it, it was old. I've been rocking this beat saturn, moms old car, but it goes to my younger brother soon. I have to buy my own car in a few months and I really didn't want to buy a car I was going to worry about modding the engine much. I've test driven alot of cars, new civic si, (<3 it by the way) but its gonna be a stretch to afford it. new lancer GTS same deal, great car, but tough to afford. RSX-S used, easier to afford, but still paying alot for a used car. Scion tC, great car for the price, but lacked the soul, it was just a car you know? I'll keep the saturn for that crap. I really want to get my hands on a 2001 milano red or EBP or NHBP base or sh, makes little difference to me in actuality. Miles have to be 60k ish, absolutely not more than 70k though. A couple of questions for you guys though.

1. If I am to mod the H22a, I am going to want to mod it for all around performance. for power, I want the entire powerband increased not just peak power. So naturally I was thinking Type-S intake with maybe a high flowing drop in filter? that would do it right? Not sure if I want to play with exhaust, too risky on the tone, I would want something stockish, so maybe a WS2? but also I would want consistent gains across the band so which size would I have to keep the piping to keep sound as well as low end stable? while still gaining some power? Flywheel clutch and an LSD would be a great addition when it comes time to replace the clutch right? might as well do it all at once.

2. Wheels, While I love the SH wheels I really have my heart set on a set of silver Rota Torque wheels in the 17x8 with a nice set of sticky 225/45/17 tires. Is that setup feasible on the prelude with a stock height? with a drop? I'm not sure of the offset's they make for the wheel, or which would be best for me. I don't want any rub at all. With a nice setup the 2006 civic si centercaps fit inside that rota wheel, so I can keep the stockish look of the wheels, while still looking great.

I miss my prelude and hopefully I can find a good low mileage one soon, I look forward to being on the boards more often, feel absolutely free to ask any questions about anything, as well as offer any insight into my future car purchases or choices in what I want to accomplish.
