Just received my ebay JDM Replica Foggies.

After a long 5 day wait, I finally received my JDM replica fog lights. I purchased it from K2 motors, that's there screen name on ebay. I asked what bulbs the fog lights take and they told me its H3. But, when i looked behind the fog lights itself, it stats H3c. Will H3 be a direct fit for it? Anyone with any experience with these fog lights?

The fogs come with H3C. H3 bulbs fit in exactly the same, you just need to do a little modification.

^ that guys is all over it. And for the record, the bulbs that come with those foggies ( from k2 specifically at least) suck ass. Replace them before you put your foggies in or you'll be doing it again in a month... Just to save you a little hassle...

So what if they suck whatever, you go putting in something with a higher power rating (wattage) your going to melt the housing.

I meant get some replacement bulbs. I.e. a pair of h3c 35 or 55 watt. And BTW, the v.2 is rated for 55watt bulbs, so unless you buy something crazy I doubt that you're going to melt them...

I dont have any first hand experience with hids in my foggies, but plenty of people report that they handle them fine. My suggestion would be that even though they are rated for 55watts I wouldn't put 55w hids in em. Like I said, some people have said they are fine, and thats up to you. Me personally I would just run a 35w hid setup if I were going to.

I would really like to see a bulb melt a metal housing.
