2000 SH prelude fog lights

hey guys

new to the forum, first post.

looking to add fog lights to my 2000 type SH

seen a few HID fog light kits on ebay, not sure if they are any good.

I was wondering what you guys would suggest is the best way to go. Willing to spend a bit of money to get quality lenses & HID's. DOnt know too much regarding HID's. 3000k, 6000k, 8000k wahts the difference?

thanks for your time, any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

will post pics of my prelude soon

cheers

Re: 2000 SH prelude fog lights

Any of the JDM style ones are awesome and alot of members on here have the JDM Replica ones (me included). prelude fog lights items - Get great deals on eBay Motors, Fog, Driving Lights items on eBay.com! you can find yellow/clear and smoked ones. Just make sure they are the v2 fog's. The v2's have the bulb shroud and the lens is much better quality. As far as an HID kit i dont know much about those hopefully other members can point you in the right direction.

Re: 2000 SH prelude fog lights

also if you want to keep your little pocket below the original cruise/moonroof/dimmer switch you can just replace one of them with the foglight switch. i wish i could of but i messed up the original one trying to get it out, and i would not have a cruise switch now. i never use it anyway.

Re: 2000 SH prelude fog lights

AFAIK, 5th generation Prelude always offered an dealer-installed OEM fog light option. The ones I have on my 2001 SH are the "small" round ones that go under the turn signals. They are surrounded by a black skirt that is fitted perfectly into the bay under the turn signal.
