Remove light assembly for bulb change???

Remove light assembly for bulb change???

I resently purchased some simulated H.I.D bulbs and I have browsing through the forums and services books trying to find out if I`m gunna HAVE TO remove my bumper and both of my lighting assemblys to change out the bulbs? I was looking at it and it is looking like that might be the case well someone please tell me its not........please?!

it's not. you can remove the lights from your engine bay behind the headlights themselves. Now if your doing a retro fit then yes you have to remove the headlamps.

I thought so, is that what that little phillips head screw connected to the back of the main head light electrical connecter is for? Bc its a pain in the ass to get to and its so small

all you have to do is take of the connector on the back of hte bulb, pull the rubber cover off, push down and to the side the metal clip, and the bulb will come out.

don't feel bad I took that screw out the first time I changed my bulbs too. jus do what prelude1897 said and you'll be fine

Yeah, changing the bulbs is easy. Squeeze the black connector and pull it out, remove the rubber grommet, then pull out the bulb by releasing the little wire clip. The Prelude manual has all the steps in it and there are no tools required.
