Having suspension problems.

i just bought a 98 honda prelude and im having some problems with the suspension. it seems to be lowered. everytime i hit a a small hump or dip in the road my car sinks down too low and makes contact with my tires. i need advice on how to fix this problem without having to raise my car. i love the way it looks lowered. could it be the shocks or springs??

Re: Having suspension problems.

What wheels and tyres are you running? If the wheels are incorrect offset or tyres are incorrect size this will happen even with well setup suspension.

Though if all this is stock, there's a chance the springs are either way too soft a spring rate, or the shocks may be finished.

Re: Having suspension problems.

That should help, I don't even have a drop yet but I did go with a little beefer tire now running 205 55R 16. I rub a little on hard entrances but the ride on the road is very nice.
