How to aim headlights.

After successfully installing my HIDS, I noticed that my passenger side light is lower then the drivers side lights. I understand that in order to aim it, there's two circular things with spikes on it, and do you rotate the bigger one? Also, I'm noticing that when i rotate the big circular one, the small one doesn't rotate with it, is that normal? So my goal is to lower the light of the drivers side beam, so I've been rotating the circular things towards the pass side but nothing, the beam doesn't move, so I've rotated it towards outside of the car, and yet the beam doesn't move. help would be appreciated :)

Re: How to aim headlights.

HIDs in normal headlight housing can cause that. the light out put is way too much to control. that why a lot of people do retrofits.

all i can sugest is cranking her all the way and see if you can at least get it close.

Re: How to aim headlights.

your supposed to use a screwdriver in the spike things to turn both of them. each headlamp has two adjusters, one for up and down and one for sideways left and right, your prob turning the the one that adjusts horizontal.
