Re: type r seat to prelude?

nothing bolts straight up as far as I know. you can adapt your sliders and rails to the type r seat with a little fabrication.

Re: type r seat to prelude?

Yes the Type R and S2000 seats can be retrofitted, and with minimal fuss. Spend some time sitting in each one before you fit them, as they are kinda small and anybody with a slightly big arse will struggle to fit comfortably for any length of time.

Re: type r seat to prelude?

The Honda Accord Type-R (ATR) was produced from 1998-2003 using the CH1 Accord chassis and sold in UK/EU markets, the JDM Accord Euro-R uses the CL1 chassis. Using a naturally aspirated 2.2 litre 4-cylinder DOHC H22A VTEC motor which produces 220 bhp (220ps)and the EDM was (212ps) @ 7,200 rpm and 164 lbft (222 Nm) @ 6,700 rpm. The Accord Type-R includes a stiffer suspension, limited-slip-differential, twin-piston brakes, dual exhaust system, Recaro seats and a leather trimmed Momo steering wheel.

Its successor is the CL7 Accord Euro-R produced 2004-2007 built in Sayama, Japan for the JDM market, it came with a K20AI-VTEC motor {Displacement: 1998 cc, Compression: 11.5:1, Power: 220 bhp (220 PS,162 kW) @ 8000 rpm, Torque: 152 ftlbf (206 N•m) @ 7000 rpm and a Redline of 8800 rpm} same as the 02-06 Integra Type R. Of course it has the standard Type R modifications – including Recaro seats, a limited-slip-differential and independent double-wishbone suspension.

taken off wiki (basically i took the seat of this car (recaro) and put them into my lude

Re: type r seat to prelude?

you can either buy recaro/prelude brackets since the seats have the same recaro bolt pattern or there is a way to modify the euroR brackets that fit the accord into your lude. I recommended the first option thoe.

hi guys,
I am also new here, so hello from Europe
I found this thread and decided to ask here as I am also considering ATR (Euro R) seats for my lude...
well what makes me not so happy about accord type r seats is that it might raise the seat height
well with my stock seats I have just enough headroom right now so raising my seating position is not really what I am looking for.
how about those recaro rails? do they solve this issue? or is it just the case for both modified euro r rails and original recaro rails?

I am looking for comfortable seats for longer distances, it should lower my seating position a lil bit and hold my body a little bit better. maybe better adjustability would be a benefit as well.
alternatively I was looking at DC5 seats. but euro r look more comfy, I like adjustable seat length for my longer feet.
I only tried DC2 seats till now as both above are very rare here in my country and although I am pretty skinny, I did not feel well about DC2 seats. kind of too narrow for me.

thanks for your help guys.

Re: type r seat to prelude?

it does raise the height unless u get the wedge engineering brackets with recaro fitment. i modded the euro r rails to fit.
