I still haven't found the answer for what size of battery do we need, and what specs like cold crank?, amps? is the minimum for our cars?

Re: 5th gens - What size and specs for battery

Well when I needed a battery I went to my buddy that works at the local Honda spare parts counter and told him I needed a battery for the Prelude. He gave me what I needed and I fitted it. This is the course of action I suggest.

Re: 5th gens - What size and specs for battery

you can get anything above 550 CCA, your car only uses what it needs, so getting a bigger amperage wont hurt anything?

Re: 5th gens - What size and specs for battery

I can get one at Wall-Mart too for like $40 and last about a year. I got my optimum yellow top for free and highly recommend one if you can get a deal one one somewhere. I think I've seen them for about a buck to a buck twenty before. They are worth it though!!

I have the red top, I forget what number but it was the suggested one for the Lude. I like it so far plus I got a discount on the battery and made it about the same price as the duralast gold lead acid battery.
