Re: HELP!!!window motor died how to manually let my window up

you could unbolt the window from the regulator then pull the window up and tape it closed so it doesnt slide back down. i dont think the motor will move at all if it is fried.

thank you.

tape the outside or inside of the window to the door frame. this is only a short term fix until you replace the window motor. you might as well take the motor out anyways while you have the door panel apart.

You sure its the motor, could be your switch going bad, sometimes the copper contacts inside the switch get corroded or worn.

Re: HELP!!!window motor died how to manually let my window up

oh dang this sucks! get that thing fixed asap. but yea what 1BadBB6 said just take it off the regulator and tape it up. i had to wedge something between the window frame and window to get mine to stay up in my civic.
