Ebay JDM Bumper

Hey guys, just wanted to know what you thought about this find. I have been looking at lips/foglights anyways, so I am considering buying this (and its JDM)
Im not sure how much time i would spend refinishing it though.

JDM Honda Prelude BB6 97-01' OEM bumper + foglights Lip: eBay Motors (item 250444871115 end time Aug-08-10 21:10:33 PDT)

Re: Ebay JDM Bumper

i almost purchased one of those before i found a guy in NC selling a jdm front bumper, its a fair price considering you're getting fogs, turn signals, bumper, and lip for $600. the only thing is that the foglights do not come with the wiring harness that runs behind the bumper and does not come with interior harness/relay/switch either.

Re: Ebay JDM Bumper

And I am assuming finding a harness/switch by itself would be extremely difficult

Re: Ebay JDM Bumper

probably, it wouldnt be that difficult if you just bypassed the factory prewired harness thats in the car and ran your own wiring and switch. its just alot nicer to have the factory stuff. if you could find an interior harness/relay and switch you could easily make the part that goes behind the bumper.

Re: Ebay JDM Bumper

instead of buying that bumper, you could just shave your current bumper and buy some JDM replica fogs. The 2nd version of course, cause they're damn near like the real ones.

I would do that as well. remember if you buy that bumper it will have to get that painted as well.

I was thinking about buying something like this too. i cheaped out and i like the oem lip more.

OEM usdm bumper=free on car.
fogs and lip=under 200 shipped (both obviously replica)
jdm sidemarkers=30ish shipped.

then i had body guy get rid of usdm sidemarkers on front bumper cover when my car was getting painted. looks the same, costs 3x less. not oem but i don't care. remember if you do get the jdm bumper, your going to have to get fenders or sidemarkers and cut holes for your stock fenders. if your set on oem fogs n such, thats ebay bumper is a deal though.

Re: Ebay JDM Bumper

Thanks guys, weird how it happened, but all the stuff you guys said kinda struck me before i checked back on this post. I knew getting fogs and an oem lip would be way cheaper than all of it together. It was more just because of it being JDM. But i just went with some fogs, and black housing depo projectors.
