Icon8 Screeching noise!!!

So I got a new clutch about 5-6 months ago and about 2 weeks ago my car started making a screeching/whisteling noise everytime I start on first gear and shift into 2 and 3rd. It's starting to get annoying it happens all the time. Does anybody have a clue of what it can be or anybody had this problem before? Thanks!

P.S also my clutch does a springy noise everytime I press it down.

Re: Screeching noise!!!

Well I got a clutch kit with the throwout bearing included and my friend replace my clutch. I'm sure he did. But can it be anything else besides the bearing?

Re: Screeching noise!!!

I would get car on a lift that supports by beams and allows tires to spin freely and see if can find out where it is coming from exactly. Sounds like something might have shifted in trans a little. Does it feel any diff at all when shift or power engagement when release clutch?

Re: Screeching noise!!!

Well I got an ACT 6 puck clutch kit. So when I shift gears is really boggy and it's shakey. Is that normal? Like when I shift from 1st to 2nd, it feels like my clutch grabs and let's go then grabs on again. So it makes my car bog forward.

Re: Screeching noise!!!

Hmmmm.... Really? There's a bunch of noises my car makes that I can't even explain. When I shift and the momentum of my car goes forward then when the clutch grabs there's a knocking noise. Noise happens when I press the clutch to shift to 2nd and after 3rd gear engages. Idk I think I should take it to a shop.

Re: Screeching noise!!!

this probably isnt the problem but if its when you start it everytime try tightening your belt. it happened to me and after driving for like 10 seconds and shifting it goes away. its easy as hell to do, it could just be a coincidence it happened right after you did your clutch. figured i would try and help who knows

it's most likely the clutch assist spring on the pedal itself. try lubing it up and you should be good to go.

No it's not when I start it. For sure or else I wouldve fix it cuz that's when your belt is loose. It's when I shift gears. Excatly when I go in 2nd gear and give gas and let go of the clutch that's when it screeches. I don't wanna spend money taking it to a shop cuz I don't have money so I wanted to see maybe it was something I could figure out. Buttt it doesn't look like I can. :(
