Vtec help!1

Okay So i've noticed that going from 1st to 2nd when my Vtec kicks in, it just revs up really hard and then sound like its grinding gears. idk how to really explain it guys im sorry. its really weird and im concerned. when im in a higher gear it rarely happens. what could be wrong???
I think my relay went out to my right radiator fan so it overheats when at idle. could this be causing the problem?

Re: Vtec help!1

sounds like you got 2 diff problems.

does vtec kick in at all??
or when vtec kicks in, does vteck get reallyyyyy loud, but it doesn't really get too much faster??

i would get the overheating problem fixed asap as well.
