etymology question

ok...whats the name for the lights on the side of the front bumper on the 5th gen and why dont they flash with the turn signals (or are they supposed to)?
also, looking for some black jdm ones, is that like a black cover or black insides? is the following link what im looking for? and i will have to switch to amber bulbs correct? i just dont know the right name to search for...

the ones on the side of the bumper are called side markers. they are not turn signals. but supposedly there is a way to get them to flash with the turn signals... but i don't know how.. the ones you have a link to are the front bumper turn signals... the ones that would sit above the fog lights. as for the side markers, i don't think they sell them in black. however they do sell them in clear.. but what you can do is do what i did, get some vht nighshades and tint them. however if you do get those lights for your turn signals. yes you would have to get amber bulbs. i got clear signals but i still have the regular white bulbs. and i haven't been pulled over but thats probably cuz the cops don't care. but yes it is illegal. they have to be amber.

If you want them to flash all you have to do is splice them into the wiring for the turn signals
