redline water wetter

Whats going on PZ! Ive been tryna find stuff out about redline water wetter. Has anyone tried it here? I understand its supposed to keep the motor cooler by 10 to 20 degrees (give or take) but has it given anyone problems here like after affects of having it in there? Also how does it work during the winter because regular 50/50 antifreeze helps our motors from freezing over, are we supposed to drain it in the winter and switch back to anti-freeze? Anyones 2 cents is appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I have used that stuff for years and always seen a small difference. It def helps, especially for the $ you cant go wrong. I do live in Texas tho so it rarely gets cold enough to worry about it here.

Re: redline water wetter

It's good if you live in a place that's always warm, and you normally run straight water. But if you have to change back to water/coolant mix for winter, it'll just be a waste of money, considering you'll be changing your coolant every 6 months or so to match the outside temperature
