Re: halos or stock

I'd say you have to balance personal preference and cost
if money is no issue then its all your preference

My opinion - go halo, I just like the look

Re: halos or stock

i do have the money, but my prelude is red, and im looking at the black halo headlights. the whole disassembling the headlights seems like a good idea, i was thinking buying the halos and keep the old, so that if my halos die or break, i can switch.

depos are the way to go imo, just as clean as stock and the shroud is painted black.

Beat me to it. Depos are quality too. No worrying about them fogging up, or having leaks, or cracking or any of that B.S. I would opt for some depos man.

Re: halos or stock

Depo are the stock replacments. There are of stock quality or better, annnd unlike stock you can get them with the blacked housing.

I'm sure googling black housing depos will yield some results for you.

Re: halos or stock

if you're not worried about money look into getting a retrofit done. that way you get quality plus the option of a different look.

Re: halos or stock

retros can be anywhere from $600-900 depending on the setup you want. if you're interested pm brian (prelude1897) and he can hook you up with some prices/options. its basically the best headlight you can get for your car. optimal light output and they look amazing.

Bleh, don't get the halos. Mine sucked ass. Go with the black housing depos. They will look much cleaner and last longer without any problem.

Re: halos or stock

if you get halos, i'd get the eagle eyes projectors..
it sounds like you want em for looks or else you'd just get oem ones.
but yea go for the halos and let me know how you like em. i always liked the eagle eyes for some reason.
heres a vid so you can see em they look dope

Re: halos or stock

depos or retrofit S2k projectors in. for me, i like looks but output of light is my main concern. i would do it right, and right the first time around. if you want good lights, save up the cash for the retrofits.

Brian (prelude1897) i believe gives you a set of stock lights to use temporarily until hes done, you get the set up of your choice, and you also get a HID kit of your choice. well, thats from wat i remember him talking to me about.

thats honestly the route im taking, cause my headlights are already glazed over. i have a hard time seeing at night.
