Re: which/what kind of spraypaint?

Please don't paint your interior... Coming from someone that has done it before, just don't. It ends up looking cheesy and you'll spend an entire day doing it correctly, and you'll like it for about a week (if you are still in your rice stage, maybe a little longer) but then you will start to hate it and regret doing it.. Here are some pictures of me when I went from a tan interior to a black one with red accents (there was no swapping for black interior pieces, everything was painted either black or red)

If you look at the seats, that is the color my carpet and dashboard and everything else was, the car was gutted for the longest time, and I can specifically remember running with only a drivers seat for about a month, then I put the passenger seat in and that was that lol.

And here is the hideousness that was my Integra's Interior...

So please, just THINK about what you are doing before you do it.. They sell paint for interiors at most auto stores, but I would HIGHLY advise you to just not even do it and just swap out for a black interior. You are gonna be pulling everything out anyways, and it wont scratch like paint and it doesn't get hard and feel cheap. OEM is always best

Dear Daltontj,

Yeah, I did. We all do dumb, ricey things when we first start modding cars. But there are polite ways to say something doesn't look good. I can promise you I'm not a moron, so don't call me one.

Thank you,

Bryce.

Just swap everything with the OEM black parts. Trust me, it looks better and it doesn't chip, and you don't have to deal with the smell of paint for weeks.

Junkyard/ part out.

To OP. I'm glad we persuaded you away from painting your interior. Honestly if its THAT bad, try to acquire OE parts. The money you may spend will almost definitely last you until you sell the car, without ever having to pay any attention to those pieces with the exception of cleaning every so often.
