While yes they will work, the light output will be somewhere between rubbish and shiit. Projectors that were designed for halogen bulbs don't like HIDs much, not to mention the cutoff will be all over the place, not a nice flat beam like HID projectors have.

Re: Will Xenon lights work in my headlights that were made for halogen?

you have "not so bad" cutoff. i bet you still blind people pretty often. more specifically people trying to turn on to the street your on. the cutoff angle is way to big and because of that it forces people to angle the lights lower giving you poor output.

Re: Will Xenon lights work in my headlights that were made for halogen?

Nah, ebay cut-offs with HIDs looks fine. People here are trippin. I'm not saying they look as nice as factory TSX or S2K cut-offs but better than putting 55w HIDs in factory housings and blinding everyone in front of you. I've two types of projectors from ebay and seen both with 35 and 55 watt HIDs in them. They didn't melt and the cut-off was definitive and easily adjusted to not blind people just like any other projectors. The only problem I saw was that they area of light was inconsistent and patchy and the beam wasn't nearly as wide as a nice retrofit.

Yo ...Im gunna agree with omglude and say that these WILL work. I just did a similiar headlight swap...so if you get em, and need any help, feel free to ask me or my dude BLUEPRELUDEDUDE who actually did most of the work. You can check out my thread there below in my sig vvvvvv and its got pictures of the install.

Re: Will Xenon lights work in my headlights that were made for halogen?

still gunna have to counter that and say they work as just as well...you just have to adjust them down, and thats the first thing Im doing when I get back. they are blinding if they're up in the air like they are right now...so proof there that they work plenty fine. That is if they are close to what I have
