New here...

Hi, I just bought a 2001 prelude SH with 83k. Just finished replacing a rear wheel bearing. Ive been thinking about doing a few modifications to it looking for the most bang for my buck as far as looks. Ive been thinking about some jdm fogs and maybe a short shifter. Any idea what the short will run me? any good brands to recommend?

Thanks

Re: New here...

for looks? i would go with a lip kit, or a spoiler, or cf hood/trunk, or rims?, or drop it a few inches...?......

(im not sure what you got currently but those would make your car looks cool imo) but if you dont got a lip kit i would get that 1st

Re: New here...

Yea lip kits look badass. Once I replace my headlights and bumper which will hopefully straighten out my lines in the front, I plan on getting a lip kit. They make your sht look like secks.

After that, window tint, rims and slam it. Secks on wheels.

Although it'll prolly take you awhile, all that sht ain't cheap.

I dont know about the spoiler i got the stock one and i love the way it looks with that. Any idea how much a body kit wold run me? I was looking at some headlights as well. any thoughts on the halos? I saw some on eBay for around 200 a pair...

Re: New here...

Welcome to PZ buddy!

Check the stickies in the 4th Gen section-I got my short shifter from a guy on here that was making them himself and it's awesome. I'm not sure if he ever fab'ed any for the 5th Gen but I know it came up in conversation a few times.

PSPEC makes the only shortshifter for the 5th gens. they run a little over 200 shipped. someone else was making them on here. forgot how that panned out

Re: New here...

ok cool thanks for all the input guys. Just ordered the jdm fogs off ebay!!! Thanks 209 my headlights are looking pretty bad with yelllowing right now though. I used some of that de-yellowing stuff on em, didnt put a dent in it lol. I think im gonna have to save up for the pspec shorty tho 2 bills is a stretch for a broke college student like me haha. I think some dark tint would look awesome though plus my car is black and with summer coming on the car is pretty HOT after being in the parking lot for an hour or two.
