Re: COMPRESSION RATING!?

1st of all SEARCH cause there r several threads similar to this. compression ratio is 10:1 if i remember right and the JDM H22 is a little higher dont rember it. If you do a compression test at WOT it should b about 185psi

Re: COMPRESSION RATING!?

Some JDM engines are 10:1, some are 10.5:1 and the Type S engine is 11:1.

Every other H22 in the world is 10:1. Unless it's been worked, in which case it could be whatever.

And please press the button on the left of the A key again before you reply. Constant caps lock is incredibly annoying, unneccesary and makes you look like a tool.

Re: COMPRESSION RATING!?

Let me google that for you once again. Another question solved in under 6 seconds by google. *sigh* Do people not realize that Google is a search engine you can use for more than finding porn? Seriously guys, I can understand asking vehicle specific questions like what is this on my car? How do I do this? I just can't understand why people can't spend less than 30 seconds typing something into Google and reading a bit. Is it seriously that hard? Please Please someone explain the difficulty of this to me.

Do you see a problem with the information I provide? It's not exactly like I'm offering information for exploring thermodynamic properties or something really crazy. Basic info is available on any car, you just have to spend a few seconds on Google typing. EVERY SINGLE FORUM has people asking questions they can find if they'd spend half a second to think "Gee, maybe Google can help me find the answer". After a while it get's extremely annoying and I've developed a bad attitude towards people who are too lazy to help themselves. It's not that I'm not a people person, I'm just not a stupid people person. (no offense OP)

it doesnt hurt to do a compression test, i only did one because my car was burning coolant and i thought my head gasket was starting to go but that wasnt the case.
