thinking about getting h23 tranny on h22a

so i have a h22a engine all stock and im wanting to swap out the tranny in it now for a h23 tranny because the gears are longer and i want to turbo later down the road so im wondering is this a good idea or should i go with the f22 tranny or jdm h22.

f22 gears are even longer. and the jdm h22 has the same gears. i really dont see why this would be a bad idea, not to mention the miniscule amount of fuel youll save. id just rather wait to do everything at once then tear the car down numerous times

He means you will save gas with the different transmission. The H23 tranny is great. Get it if you want longer gears

i have h23 trannys on both of my ludes...
great for my turbo ... i had f22 and it was soo soo.
the quicker you get to your most powerful gear... 3rd on a boosted lude the better. 1st is just kinda useless anyways. 2nd and third is where you start gripping and making power.

you will have to add an lsd to that one. get an mfactory or you can use a jdm lsd if you have the half of the transmission case from the lsd tranny.that will be hard to find though. someone in the 4th gen parts for sale has the lsd for sale for a good price, but like I said, without the larger jdm differential case you cannot use it. heres the link for it though.........

depends how lucky you are. ive heard of ebay turbos lasting people forever, and some people on first start up they explode. its all luck of the draw. i know of people that buy them then rebuild em straight away. but i prob wouldnt take that chance. remember, you always get what you pay for
