Re: auto tranny noise when in park

sounds almost like the flex plate or something rubbing. Try taking the starter out and look to see if you see any rub marks on the plate or the teeth, or maybe the starter is getting stuck in. I'm not sure but it a good place to start

Re: auto tranny noise when in park

it sounds like the tranny is trying to talk to you " trade me for a 5 speed!" jk. after pulling the starter and if you dont find anything, pull the dust cover off underneath the car, it would expose alot under there, like the convertor and flex plate. jack it up, pull the cover, then start it again maybe you can check it out from beneath the car and see whats goin on. gl

Re: auto tranny noise when in park

Is it similar to mine before?
Do You Know What This Sound Is?

If so, then it was a bearing in the tranny that blew up and all the small metal balls were floating around the transmission case.
