Icon8 OMFG

Its a long story make it short.
I got a 98 prelude. took it to the shop for timing belt change. then took it home to days later the timing belt shreded. tow it back to the shop. they replace the timing belt. but the car won't start. they found out my ecu fried. how? they put an integra ls ecu in my prelude an it starts right up. now I have to get a ecu and program it. this only the dealer can do. Took it to the honda dealer have them order new ecu, red key, and reprogram the ecu the car won't start. then I tow the car back to the first shop that did my timing belt. put in the LS ecu it starts.
CAN ANYONE HElP PLEASE? what is the problem here?
